RESERVATIONS
Reservations in our villas can be processed online at www.hotellosrios.com or by calling us directly at (506) 2101-1354, WhatsApp +506 8944-3302 or by email recepcion@riosdelcaribe.com Reservations are considered confirmed only with a deposit of 50% of the total amount of your stay, proof of such payment must be sent to the respective mail for proper confirmation. Questions regarding reservations are not made automatically, but on an individual basis with a response within 2 business days.
DEPOSIT GUARANTEE
During check-in, the front desk will ask for a $200 cash security deposit for stays of more than 3 nights to cover any extra charges or damages done to the Villa. At check-out this amount will be refunded immediately.
CHECK-IN POLICY
All guests checking in must be 18 years of age or older and at check-in must present an original identification document confirming the reservation details. At the time of check-in at the front desk you will be given the keys to each villa, which must be kept in good condition. In case of loss, there will be an additional cost. This will be indicated in detail in the internal regulations. Check-in time to the villas is at 2:00 pm and check-out time is at 12:00 noon; in case of late delivery of the room, a surcharge of $30 must be paid before 3:00 pm, or a surcharge of $50 until 5:00 pm, subject to availability. After 5:00 pm, the additional charge will be equivalent to a full night’s stay, also subject to availability. You must inform 15 minutes before leaving the villa to be checked and make an inventory, in case of any loss or damage to the villa, you will be charged a fine to repair such damage, the fine will be indicated in the reception area, can be canceled by card or cash.
GENERAL POLICIES
Pets are not allowed. Only service animals are allowed, which must be duly certified as required by law. If a pet is brought in, the guest must pay a penalty of $250 and in addition to this, the respective amount in case of any damage to the property caused by the pet or compensation to customers who, in case of dissatisfaction with the pet, file a complaint. In case the guest leaves a forgotten object, it will be kept for a period of 30 days, and if it is not removed, it will be disposed of.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES
No cancellation or modification of the reservation will be made 48 hours prior to arrival for any reason whatsoever, by this we mean late arrivals, early departures or delayed flights. Our obligations to you terminate when the reservation is cancelled. We shall have no obligation to refund lost accommodation and shall not be liable for any expenses or costs incurred as a result of cancellation. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Costa Rica.
NO SMOKING POLICY
In accordance with the General Law for the Control of Tobacco and its harmful effects on health, number 9028, and the Law prohibits the use of Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (SEAN) and Similar Systems without Nicotine (SSSN), as well as electronic devices that use heated tobacco and similar technologies, number 10066. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the rooms (in case of hotel) or inside the villas, as well as on the outside terraces and in the common areas of the hotel or villas. In case of disregarding this clause, the administration will charge a fine equivalent to $150 USD.
PARKING POLICY
Parking is exclusively for guests. Vehicles should be parked only in designated areas. The establishment will not be responsible for damage to vehicles caused by third parties. The establishment only guarantees one parking space per guest. If more spaces are required, they will be assigned according to availability.
GUEST BEHAVIOR
The guest acknowledges that the rented unit is located in a family-oriented community with good moral principles, knows, respects and agrees to comply with the rules and regulations (drunkenness or unruly behavior, amorous scenes that disturb the neighbors, the use of loud sound equipment is prohibited after the established silence policy, any immoral act that causes disorder among the neighbors of the community is prohibited).
SERIOUS OFFENSES
Management shall have the absolute power to evict the guest in the following situations:
– Consumption and possession of illicit drugs.
Payment to the guest for the prostitution of both adults and minors and the permanence of these within the hotel facilities.
When the guest physically assaults a member of the hotel staff, as well as physical aggressions and damages that threaten the integrity and life of other guests.
We will at all times act reasonably in making any decision under this clause. In the event that we cancel your reservation, you will be required to vacate your accommodation immediately.
GUEST DAMAGE OR LOSS POLICY
You will be responsible for any damage or loss caused by you or a member of your party. Payment in full for any damage or loss must be made prior to your departure. The amount of the fine will depend on the damage caused. Details will be in the internal regulations of the establishment. If you are unable to make payment, you will be liable for the enforcement of any claim (including legal costs) subsequently brought against us as a result of your actions, together with all expenses incurred by us in bringing any claim against you.

The established hours are after 10:00pm until 7:00am.
